Crest 3D White whitestrips Intensive Professional Effects $60

I just wanted to do a quick review on these!
If you're looking for good whitening and don't  want to pay a ton of money to get it done at the dentist, these work wonders! I had an eating disorder for 3 years and it was hell for my teeth and I've always been really self conscious about it. So finally I decided to try these. I'm only on the third day and my teeth are already sooo much nicer and I've experienced almost no sensitivity or pain. These are definitely worth it if you want to whiten your teeth.

So I was wondering what mascaras do you all use?
I've been looking for a really nice one but so far have had no luck.
What are your favorites??

I'd just like to start with thank yous! I can't believe in less than 24 hours  I got 9 followers! I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but I was so excited!
I really liked the idea of talking about my film studies and thoughts about films so I'm going to do that soon!
Also, I apologize ahead of time for the bad quality of the photos, luckily in this case it's not too too important.

Makeup:

FACE/LIPS

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15 $38-  To be completely honest, before July I was really unsure about spending more than $15 on a foundation. But when I got a gift card to Sephora I did some research and spent literal days looking for a full coverage foundation. This foundation is amazing. I have a lot of freckles and the occasional blemish and this covers all of it with barely any product. I mix it with Jemma Kidd liquid illuminizer and it gives me a really nice airbrushed finish. I apply by buffing it in using the ELF blush brush. Tarte also made a brush specifically for this foundation but it's another $32. I will try to post a before an after picture soon, but for now if you'd like a reference picture I know Miley Cyrus and a few other  celebrities use this as well!

Pixi Vitamin Veil $30- You can't really see it in the picture but this is the little square compact. I'll make this one shorter haha. I was at Target and decided to try this because I hadn't heard anything about it really. I don't see anything special about this especially for the price. It's provides medium coverage. If you have nearly perfect skin, and want something lightweight I guess you would probably like this. But for $30 you could get something much better in my opinion.

Pretty much the same goes for all the Pixi products. For the price, you could get something better.

ELF lip plumper and primer $3- If you haven't heard of ELF, check it out immediately. Especially if you're on a budget. I've never seen anything from them for more than $10 and that was an eye shadow pallet. They are such good quality for the price and I've never disliked anything from them. This product included. The plumper tastes and smells like cinnamon. I already have quite full lips but I think this makes them look even fuller and more perfect. As for the primer, I also really, really like this. It really helps to even out my lips and make whatever color I put on look perfect and long lasting.

EYES

Lorac liquid liner, mascara, eyeshadow, and eye primer Sonia Kashuk palette, NP set eye glimmer, Sephora eyeliner crayon and pencil, ELF eyebrow kit

I'm not going to review each of these individually, but I will say I love the Sephora eyeliners. They are about the same price as a drugstore eyeliner and great quality. ELF eyebrow kit is just wax and shadow, pretty basic. NP Set is really nice for nights out to clubs.

I bought the Lorac products as a set because it was $37 for all of it which is a great deal because they are about $20 each otherwise. I don't really like the look of the mascara, I prefer my Falsies mascara over it. It doesn't look BAD and it does give length, but it looks very spidery and I like a more natural look. The rest of the set though works and looks so, so good. You really can't beat this price for all this.

Sonia Kashuk eye palette $20- This is actually quite cheap for this size palette and it is pretty pigmented as well! It comes with a little instructional pull out to help with certain looks. If you're on a budget I would recommend this but obviously it's not as good as the Naked palettes or MAC.

CLEANSERS/LOTIONS

Ok I realize this is getting so long so I'm going to try to be shorter haha

Bath and Body Works lotions, LUSH exfoliating bar, herbalism facial cleanser, essie nail polish

The lotions smell so nice and make my skin glowy, and soft. I don't even wear perfume because they are quite strong. These also last for a few months. They are $11 each.

LUSH products- Herbalism facial cleanser, the price depends on the weight. This is SO good. you only need about a pea sized ball to clean your face and it feels so nice and is all natural. I've never heard of anyone having any sort of bad reaction to a lush product. This specific one is for preventing blemishes but all the face washed are amazing. If you haven't been in a Lush store, go! I completely adore their products.

The body exfoliating bar is also amazing but I paid $11 dollars for it and it shrank considerably after two uses. It makes your skin look beautiful and soft, but if you're going to buy this I would recommend using it only after shaving or occasionally unless you can spare $11 for it once every couple weeks.

ESSIE nail polish $8- I just wanted to include this because this is my favorite nail polish. It looks so nice and the color options are beautiful!

Okay, I realize this is soo long but hopefully this was helpful! Let me know what you think and if you use any of these products!
My next post will include reviews of some movies, which I'm really excited for because I love talking about films. If you have any requests for reviews let me know and I'll watch and review it!
One last thing! I am about to sign up for a year subscription to glossybox! Do any of you get them? What do you think?
I hope you all like this and are having a great day! :)
xoxo Ivy

Okay so I'm going to do my first post right now even though I doubt anyone will see it, but just in case!

Either tomorrow or the day after I'm going to make a post about the new beauty products (I bought quite a lot of make up, facial cleaners, body creams etc.) I've bought recently to prepare for my first year at uni!
